It made me grin...

It was probably an evil grin, but nonetheless it curved upward. I read this joke in my email a short moment ago. It reminded me of sooooooooo many people. It wasn't the situation, just self proclaiming bs that people say.
I don't even know if that's the right way to say it *LOL* I guess it's just the disclaimer people add to before they are going to do something they normally don't do. Such as, "I'm not one to judge..." Seriously, here guess what follows??!? That's right folks... JUDGEMENT!!! ding~ding~ding We've got a winner!!!! Or "I normally wouldn't say anything, but..." insert gripe here. ahem, yes you probably would or you wouldn't have made such a deal of it in the first place. Like adding those key phrases makes it any better, seriously folks it just draws attention to it. People can benefit a lot from Thumper, you know with the whole "don't say anything at all" bit. Ya think that will happen though??? Prolly not.

Anyhow, onto the joke!!!!

A guy walks into the local welfare office, marches straight up
to the counter and says, "Hi... You know, I just HATE asking for
assistance. I'd rather have a job."

The social worker behind the counter says, "Your timing is
excellent sir!

We just got a job opening from a very wealthy old man who wants
a chauffeur and bodyguard for his nymphomaniac, underwear-model
daughter. You'll have to drive around in his Mercedes, but
he'll supply all of your clothes.

Because of the long hours, meals will be provided. You'll be
expected to escort her on her overseas holiday trips. You will
have to satisfy her sexual urges. You'll have a two-bedroom
apartment above the garage.

The starting salary is $200,000 a year".

The guy says, "You're bullshi@@ing' me!"

The social worker says, "Yeah, well... you started it."
